今年7月6日香港证监会的官员曾提到，目前监管对于RWA的认知正在不断地改变。过去人们认为所有代币化的东西都是虚拟资产，要按照虚拟资产去监管；但是现在认为应该以其底层资产的监管方式去监管RWA和STO。这确实是一个非常振奋人心的消息，因为如果RWA或者STO的底层是股票，又将按照其底层资产的模式去监管的话，是否意味着这一款RWA是可以向散户开放的？
我们为什么需要假设性的数码港元？
首先需要明确一个概念：数字资产不一定是虚拟资产。虚拟资产最普遍被大众所认识的就是比特币、以太坊，也就是所谓的加密资产（crypto），而香港的虚拟资产是法律的定义，在国内就叫数字资产。
首先说一下“假设性的数码港元”（“假设性”是因为目前还处于探索阶段，只在假设的条件下进行探讨）。理论上而言，假设性的数码港元与人们目前在各种生活消费场景中实际用到的港币没有区别，应该都属于港币。但是人们使用时的体验可能有区别，这也是Web3的其中一个突破。
